Why I love my little neighborhood in Worthington, Ohio for family photography sessions

I know I am a little bit biased because I live here, but I LOVE photographing families around Worthington, Ohio. There are so many options for to make beautiful and creative images around town while keeping kids comfortable, curious and entertained.

Why do I love family photography in Worthington, Ohio?

During the summer months I love to head down to the fields surrounding the bike path and the Olentangy River. From here we can visit one of two picturesque playgrounds, climb the giant old sycamore tree, wander along the river or even get in, or use one of many native flower meadows as our backdrop for more formal portraits.

In the fall I love wandering downtown Worthington, which is always picturesque but especially so during that season. We can make a stop at the local ice cream shop or play with the giant games set up on the Green, wander the farmer’s market for goodies or explore the decorative alleys lined with murals.

And the huge bonus? I know the light around here by heart, and the prettiest places to visit depending on season and time of day. When I don’t need to consider these factors during your session, it allows me to be even more present and attentive to YOU and your family!
